This is a pretty simple Blender kit set up I made for myself to make upscales and refits simpler, and I figured I’d share for people who might find it useful!
Included in this kit:
- Standard and smol peets, normie feet, and hands for both Bibo and TBSE
- Base Bibo and TBSE
- SBTL, Muse, Lux, Chonk, Grande, and Aster models
- Penis and vagina models for bodies that have them (everything but Chonk and Aster atm)
- Secondary scene lighting available in both downloads
- Color coded collections to make differentiation easier
- One model per collection to make toggling easier
- Classic, Predator, and ReClawed claw shapes for fem and masc standard peets
This blend file has streamlined my own refit workflow and I hope it can do the same for you! Obviously, this was not created with the intention of being as accessible to EVERYONE as possible, I made it in the way that makes the most sense to MY brain and is the most comfortable for ME to work with, so if you need to make changes to anything to make it more comfortable for YOU, by all means go ahead!
There are two versions, one with the Tri-Lighting add-on and one without, and the link for the add-on is here in case you want to grab it (highly recommend) https://extensions.blender.org/add-ons/tri-lighting/.
There is secondary scene lighting available in both downloads so you’ll have good lighting in material and rendered viewport shading regardless of which download you choose.
This kit was built on Blender 4.2.1, and therefore I cannot guarantee compatibility with other versions of Blender. Should be fine for newer ones in the future, I think, probably won’t work with 3.6 Blender.
Additionally, I highly recommend the Robust Weight Transfer add-on available here: https://jinxxy.com/SentFromSpaceVR/products/robust-weight-transfer. This has improved my workflow and made weighting objects much simpler and less prone to errors.
IMPORTANT TIPS IF YOU NEED THEM:
Select your models and then press M > [Collection Name] to move it. Once moved to the new collection, select the models again then ctrl+select the armature you want them on. Right click (in the workspace) and click Parent > Armature Deform. At this point, a little pop up appears in the lower left just open it and click Keep Transform to make sure the models return to their original position after “falling” when parented.
If you select everything for an object – models, groups, armature, etc – and then hit Export, you can toggle “Limit to Selected Objects” to export only what you have highlighted. I also suggest toggling “Triangulate Faces” when you export, especially if you have done any kind of generative editing like mirror modifiers or adding faces to fill gaps.
