『 ONI – Preset Collection 』

Another sort of experimental Halloween collection has arrived. These are heavily inspired by Kabuki-styled makeup, but with a pretty demon twist. These shaders have heavy red tones and wash out other colors to create a haunting kitsune (japanese demon fox) effect. Definitely not a mainstream set, these aren’t everyday shaders and will require some tweaking. I personally really enjoy the aesthetic, and hope there will be some love for this temperamental little preset babies. I really enjoy using these against a white or cool toned kind of background (they actually work really well against a pure white studio backdrop).

This collection consists of

───✧❈ KITSUNE ❈✧───
A haunting, red-toned sepia preset

───✧❈ ONI ❈✧───
A moodier take, with softer tones

───✧❈ YOKAI ❈✧───
Washed out colors for the most ephemeral of ghosts

───✧❈ YUREI ❈✧───
This comes in 2 versions; the original has stronger red tones, and the alternate version is a little less saturated

Important Notes:
✦ Best Suited for: White / Cooler toned backgrounds; this doesn’t look great against darker / blacker / warmer tones
✦ Created in: Old Sharlayan; tested in Coerthas Highlands, Puppet’s Bunker, Copied Factory, Mt Gulg

✦ Please add the included jpg / png files into your Gshade Textures folder(Do not change the file names).
C: > Program Files > SquareEnix > Final Fantasy XIV > game > gshade-shaders>textures

✦ The presets will still work even without the added textures. To turn them off, uncheck the boxes next to “Stage Depth” and / or “Layer”.

✦ A guide on how to make the presets work properly is included in the download. Please refer to the “Read Me” pdf if you get lost!
