Thank you so much for your patience as I figure out how much moderation works for TGD and its volunteer staff. I’ve tried various methods over the years and have finally landed on a solution that will be more permanent.

Over the next few weeks of updates a moderation panel will be rolling out that will allow you flag mods: broken download link, NSFW in SFW category, or Premium mod labeled as free.

These 3 categories are the most common and can be easily handled without staff intervention which will significantly reduce staff workload.

All others (DMCA/Stolen Art, AI Art, unsupported creator/mod) will be handled with the usual ticket-based workflow, as they require further information for all involved.

With alternate links, any that you’ve included previously will populate automatically.

If you’ve provided a download file and an alternate link, both will show up on the mod page.

To accommodate this change, links from popular services produce different button copy (ie: “Download from Patreon” or “Download from Boosty”) Services include: patreon, ko-fi, boosty, google drive, proton drive, MEGA, payhip, shopify, and gumroad.

Please let me know in #suggestions if you would like anything added to the list. If one of these services is not recognized in the link, default “Download” and “Alternate Download” copy will be used.

This performance update includes new slider code, an updated login flow, and changes to how images work across the site. These changes have been introduced to improve site load times and reduce a bit of computational load on the server.
